If crushes were solely determined by the sound of one’s voice, there is no doubt that my crush would be Leslie Feist. With a sultry and alluring voice, backed by stripped down melodic harmonies and charming beats, I would love it if Feist sang me to sleep every single night.
The latest Feist performance on Letterman was an intriguing one. Together with friends from Broken Social Scene, The National, Grizzly Bear, and the New Pornographers, Feist beautifully sang 1234, off her record The Reminder.
Just watched her performance on Tivo on Letterman. Did it look like she was lip syncing? Just a bit odd
That’s what I read from comments on music blogs too. And while I want to see the performance more up close, I can’t. We don’t have Tivo in my part of the world, only youtube. :)
i saw this clip, funny how people notice that extra clap at 1:13 into the clip haha.
anyway, i downloaded her albums after seeing this clip, but i haven’t gotten around listening to them yet :)
