English cuisine

Just got back from dinner with dad and a supplier. And no, we didn’t have English cuisine. But I did find out something interesting about it.

Apparently, the reason why British food isn’t as revered as other states dates back to pre-historic times. Being Anglo-Saxons, they were warriors who hunted for their own food. To satisfy their hunger, they were easily contended with a mere roast, with their fulfillment derived from the actual hunt itself.

No wonder when I try to think of English food, all that comes to mind are two things… fish and chips.
