Lazy Wednesday night last night, so I had ample time to start watching the first few episodes of My Boys on Youtube. About a tomboyish sports writer and her male buddies, it revolves around the clashing of her dating life with her being one of the guys. It’s somewhat like Sex and the City, although replace shopping with baseball, and dining out in classy places with poker nights and beer.

The characters are appealing, the metaphors, funny, and above all, the issues dealt are real. Great show. Hope this keeps up.

Finally, the last episode of Mr. Deity has caught back some of it’s luster that was pretty innate during their first season. So far, the second season has been disappointing and I’m glad to have enjoyed that last episode.

Anyway, the show is about a light-hearted God and the situations he, along with Jesus, Lucy, and his assistant Larry get themselves into. Jokes about the Holy Trinity, the holocaust and people’s faith abound, this is a really humorous representation at the innerworkings of Christianity.

You can view all Mr. Deity episodes on Crackle.
