choices
Actually, I made plans for another reunion of sorts tonight, but things kinda buckled down last minute so I’m left here sitting in front of my laptop on a Friday night. I could’ve still gone out to Mogwai to catch the other film festival in town, but my invitation came way too late, and by then, I was already deadset on hitting the bed early.
And since I’ve practically visited all my daily internet bookmarks today, this gave me ample time to practically do whatever I want. I’m thinking of starting a marathon on one of the tv series DVD’s I bought over the holidays.
30 Rock, I’ve heard, is an interesting piece of situational comedy. Friends say it’s blazingly funny, but apart from starring Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey, I hardly know anything about it’s plot. Flight of the Conchords, is a semi-biographical mockumentary about these two comedy folk singers from New Zealand who aim to make it big in America. Dexter, which I think is along the lines of CSI, is about a serial killer who victimizes serial killers.
Hmm.. touch choice. But I’d have to go with…
(drumroll please)
Dexter.
So, good night blog! Hello, tv!
should’ve gone with 30 rock man…
Saw 30 Rock’s first episode over Star World couple of nights ago. Hilarious. Im not sure why, perhaps the character combinations of Liz Lemon, Jack Donaghy (?), Tracy Jordan, that Kenneth guy, et al.
Then again, perhaps its mighty hilarious for me bec I haven’t seen any series for the last year, other than re-runs of Friends and Seinfeld. Haha.
miguel & rose,
so guess what? 20 mins into dexter, i fell asleep. it’s just too overtly serious.. i knew i should’ve gone with a comedy.
sige, i’ll try 30 rock the next time around.
