On the commute from Chek Lap Kok Airport to my uncle’s place in HK, I took a chance and put my iPod on shuffle. Now, the thing I love about this little device that it seems to have formed a life of its own; having the ability to turn mundane situations into something a little more poignant.

In this case, it took me to a random Sigur Ros song. With its tranquil elements, it just is the perfect music to evoke feelings of hope and serenity amid what has been a pretty emotional week.
