She moves in mysterious ways

I was supposed to go out on this free postcard exhibit thingy at Fully Booked in Boni High last night, but I guess everybody was just swamped with something else. That, or nobody just remembered to do the actual planning of things. Seems everyone’s been hit by a juggernaut of laziness these days.

So, I decided to go out with my brother and sister in law for dinner at an undetermined place. Until I realized that my sister wasn’t coming along with us, so instead of it being a family affair, I would wind up being the third wheel. Hmmm… I’ll take a pass.

I could’ve still gone out to this poker game that a friend invited me to, but at the time, I was pretty much dead set on chomping down on my movie backlog. Seems fair enough.

So 8pm on a Saturday night, I was sitting at home watching When Harry Met Sally. How olats can you get, right? That was until a friend called me up, feeling similarly olats of being at home on a Saturday night, and convinced me to join him and some buddies of his in Moksha.

Moksha was closed for this private function, so we eventually ended up in nearby Guilly’s Island for some drinks and Emperor Teahouse for some post midnight dimsum. It was indeed fun, I tell you. Hanging out with the boys.

There’s just something that I can’t explain. Truly, you do move in mysterious ways.
